kurikinton

If it is called the representation of Japanese New Year food, there is "rice cakes in vegetable soup", but there is "kurikinton."

The meaning which puts "kurikinton" into "dishes for the New Year" is reminded of a golden lump, and there is an opinion of being used for the assorted refreshments of "New Year dishes" as what has the good luck which brings about prosperity in business and luck with money.

The indispensable recipe of "kurikinton" is introduced to "New Year dishes."

■ Material :

Sweet potato 500g
Fruit of a gardenia One piece
Very-refined sugar 250g
Salt A little
Candied food of a chestnut 5-6 pieces

■ 1,

A sweet potato turns to the skin more thickly and soaks it in full water.

■ 2,

The fruit of the gardenia wrapped in 1 and gauze is boiled until it becomes soft.

■ 3,

It crushes, after draining 2, sugar and nip of salt are added, it coats with glaze heating on low and mixing about 15 minutes, and, finally a chestnut is added.

Since a chestnut will require time if it is boiled, let's buy candied bottling etc.

It is a dish like the sweet sweets which boiled the chestnut.
